iPhone天気でCupertino,東京を削除する

この記事は iPhone(楽天市場で探す ・ amazonで探す) アプリの「天気」で不要な地域（都道府県名や市町村名）を削除する方法です。（英文も併記しています）

※iOS 17.7.1 でも内容を確認しました。

Delete unnecessary regions in iPhone weather (iOS)

I will show you how to delete unnecessary regions (prefecture names, city names) in the iPhone app “Weather”.

* Operation has been confirmed on iOS 17.7.1

Q. 天気アプリの一番上の地域の天気「現在地」（cupertinoや東京）が削除できない。Can’t delete top weather ‘current location’

A. 一番上の天気は削除できません。おそらくGPSによって現在、自分がいるエリアの天気は消せないと思われます。

またiPhoneが初期設定のままで天気アプリがデフォルトだと、Cupertino（クパチーノ、クパティーノ）が表示されることが多いとのことです。下記のGPS機能をオンにする方法で現在地に変更されると思います。ちなみにCupertinoとは、Apple本社があるカリフォルニア州クパチーノのことです。

Top weather cannot be deleted. For some reason I can’t seem to get rid of the weather based on the weather where the GPS is currently located.

Also, if your iPhone is set to its default settings and the weather app is the default, Cupertino (Cupertino, Cupertino) will often be displayed.

I think it will change to your current location by turning on the GPS function below. By the way, Cupertino refers to Cupertino, California, where Apple’s headquarters are located.

クパチーノを変えるには天気アプリでGPS機能を有効にすれば、現在地の天気になるので解決できると思います。

 

エリアごとの天気の削除　Delete weather

都道府県や市といった、天気予報が知りたい地域の追加は簡単にできますが、15.0.1になってから削除はさらに面倒になりましたので、記事にしました。

It’s easy to add regions that you want to know the weather forecast, such as prefectures and municipalities, but since deleting it became troublesome from 15.0.1, I made it an article.

この記事では「福山市」を削除しますが、読者の方は「消したい地名・市区町村名」に読み替えて下さい。

In this article, I will delete “Fukuyama City”, but readers should replace it with “the name of the place/city/town/village you want to delete”.

 

右下の赤い枠のアイコンをタップします（この画面でなければ、次の画面をご覧下さい）Tap the icon in the red frame on the bottom right (If you are not on this screen, please see the next screen)

右上の矢印が指すをアイコンをタップします。Tap the icon pointed by the arrow on the top right

 

[リストを編集]をタップします。Tap [Edit list]

 

都市名の左側に[-]が表示されるので、削除する都市名の[-]をタップします。A [-] is displayed to the left of the city name, so tap the [-] of the city name you want to delete.

すると、赤色のゴミ箱アイコンが表示されるので、納得されたらそのゴミ箱アイコンをタップします。Then a red trash can icon will be displayed, so tap the trash can icon if there is no problem.

 

 

削除を終えたら右上の[完了]をタップします。After deleting, tap [Done] in the upper right.

 

元の天気画面に戻るため[現在地]をタップします。Tap [Current location] to return to the original weather screen.

 

「不要な都市の天気概況の削除」は以上で終了です。This is the end of “Delete unnecessary city weather conditions”.

 

 

●天気アプリの位置情報は「許可」（GPS機能をオン）をオススメします。

Q. 天気アプリの位置情報を「しない」にすると天気アプリのGPS機能がオフとなり、自分がいる地域、つまり「現在地」の天気が消えてしまいます。

A. 変更・設定の手順

ホームの設定ボタン→（やや中央の）天気→位置情報→「このAppの使用中」「このApp/ウィジェットの使用中」「常に」のいずれかをタップ、で終わります。

Setting the GPS function on

Home → Settings → Weather → Location → Tap on “While using this app”, “While using this app/widget”, or “Always”.

 

 

番外編・天気の追加　Extra edition, addition of weather

 

前述の方法でリスト画面に入り、[都市または空港名を検索]欄をタップして、追加したい都市名・空港名を入力します。Enter the list screen using the method described above, tap the [Search by city/airport name] field, and enter the city/airport name you want to add.

 

ここでは「横浜市」と入力し、表示された一番上の「神奈川県横浜市」をタップします。Enter “Yokohama City” here and tap “Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture” displayed at the top.

 

横浜市の天気概況が表示されたら、[追加]をタップします。When you see the weather summary for Yokohama, tap [Add].

 

一番下に「横浜市」が追加されました。”Yokohama City” was added at the bottom.

 

都市名、空港名など天気の並べ替えについて　How to sort weather by city name, airport name, etc.

1　[リストを編集]する画面にします。[リストを編集]する画面にします

削除したい都市名を左へドラッグします。Drag the city name you want to remove to the left.

削除をタップすると削除されます。Tap [Delete] to delete.
